All The Raaage of Using Sage To Stop Sweating
Hi Chris,
So sage to stop sweating… I love sage so that’s great that there are herbal sweating remedies. I was wondering if I have to use it as a tea, or can I just incorporate more of it in my food?
An example of what I am talking about is that I drink green smoothies everyday for breakfast and this morning I added a tsp of dried sage. Is that ok, or should is the best way to use sage to stop sweating to have it in tea form twice a day and then added to food if I want as an extra? Or maybe sage capsules are the best?
Either way is fine with me, I was just curious about what forms of sage are acceptable, as I love all 🙂
Thank you so much!

Hey Cody,
A lot of people have questions about using sage for sweating as well as herbal sweating remedies in general, so I’m glad you asked.
Here’s the simple answer: The most effective way to use sage to stop sweating is by putting it in hot tea… but make sure you let it cool off for a little while to maximize the benefits.
You touched on another important issue, however, and it goes along with our concept of “Stacking”, which is using more than one remedy for sweating AT THE SAME TIME. That said, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with using sage tea to stop sweating, as well as incorporating more sage into your food.
The rage of the sage, indeed.
Adding it in your morning smoothie is an excellent idea (you can also consider combining it with other herbal sweating remedies like St. John’s Wort, though this does have an adverse effect on some people so make sure you start slow)!
Sage is an excessive sweater’s best friend and has all kinds of great benefits. The most important thing is that you’re using it.
